Ever since I can remember, I have loved animals. When I was four years old my family adopted a cat from neighbors who were moving. I named her Twiggie, the picture to the left is of me and her when we both were young. Twiggie was around two years old when she came to live with us, she passed away at 19 years old.
She was there right with me through my childhood, the teenage years and my first year in college. I loved her dearly. I have always had at least one cat ever since.

I moved to Albuquerque, New Mexico in 1990, and it was there that I became a dog owner for the first time.
As you can see in the picture it was a Golden Retriever puppy. Her name was Chelsea. I will admit the first two weeks I had her, I was wondering just what I had gotten myself into. Not ever having a dog before, there was a lot to learn. It was all worth it, she was a wonderful dog and taught me so much. It just about killed me when I lost her to cancer. I decided then that I will always share my life with at least one dog. I hope to always have a Golden running through the house.
For the past 27 years I have worked in the television industry, 14 of those years here in Houston at KHOU channel 11. It was a fun ride, but at this point in my life I have decided to pursue my real passion, animals. I want to provide loving care to precious pets whose owners need a little help due to time constraints or out of town trips. I will take care of your pets just as I would my own, which are pictured below. Reggae, Fresh and Marley, they are my babies.
